Our team has just returned from their trip to Las Vegas for the 2021 AmericaPack.
AmericaPack is an annual event hosted by Markus Evans. The goal of this summit was to connect packaging suppliers with companies looking for innovative ways to package their products. We attended with the goal of transitioning some of these companies to more sustainable packaging and product options.
This could mean using PCR for their packaging or creating brand new product lines using ocean plastics. We have the experience and the technology to use a wide range of materials. This includes biodegradable, ocean plastic, PCR plastic, recycled car tires, dissolving plastics and so much more.
We are very excited about the contacts and connections we made at this event and look forward to seeing our technology and products being used across North America!
Why recycling doesn't work. Is Recycling worth it? Is it a scam? The question on everyone's mind is "does recycling actually help?"
Plastic waste is a complicated issue. Not just logistically but on a molecular level. Companies find it difficult to use PCR because of the properties that make it undesirable to consumers. Many injection molding plants would use PCR if their customers were willing to buy the products that are made from it. Sadly, this is not the case.
